Get ready to make a statement with your wedding invitation! Foil is the secret ingredient that turns ordinary invites into show-stopping works of art. Whether you’re going for a classic and timeless look or a bold and modern style, foil wedding invitations offer endless possibilities.
Today, I’m sharing an example of what an average invitation suite could be when you work with Copper + Blush. I’ll show you what you get from the custom invitation design process and at the end, I’ll share how much something like this would cost.
So let’s just jump right in!

Today, we’ll be talking about this suite for Brianna & Natalie. This beauty is a completely custom design, featuring silver foil accents, beautiful luxury materials, and fun, bold typography — all hand-crafted in a cohesive collection.
Brianna & Natalie’s love for hiking and the outdoors inspired this suite’s overall forest-first moody vibe, while the stunning colour palette tied everything together.
Main Wedding Invitation Card
This invitation is foil stamped in silver on Colorplan’s Racing Green cardstock, die cut in a custom wavy shape on one side. Paired with a Lessebo Navy Blue envelope, with guest and return addresses printed in white ink on the front and back flap. The envelope liner completes the suite with a beautiful digital print, adding some colour and highlighting the theme.
The bold and modern accent script is paired with a simple and minimal type for the rest of the details. Brianna & Natalie loved how their names and venue stood out on the card, and how the custom die-cut shape reflected their organic style.
RSVP & Details Cards
The coordinating RSVP and details cards in this suite carry the typography theme forward, while adding pops of accent colours. We opted for digital printing here to save on budget and to add contrast and variety to the overall suite.
The white digital ink on the details card is a small upgrade to the standard suite, but allows us to incorporate this beautiful shade of green (Gmund’s Seedling Green), which pairs beautifully with Gmund’s Rain for the RSVP card and envelope.
Thank You Card
As an add-on to the suite, Brianna & Natalie opted for these beautiful foil stamped thank you cards. Tying in the silver foil from their invitation and the Rain cardstock of the RSVPs, these cards feel luxurious and are so easy to write in — perfect for that special thank you message to each guest.

Wedding Invitation Finishing
This suite was finished off with hand-assembly in my studio. I love taking care of this extra detail for my couples because it saves them so much work and allows me to add special little touches and get everything just right. I even purchased postage on their behalf and applied it to their suites.
Once complete, I boxed up these suites and shipped them directly to the couple, ready for the post office. This allowed them to see everything in person before sending them out, just to make sure everything looked perfect!
Wedding Invitation Cost Summary
This custom wedding invitation suite, for 100 suites (or approximately 150 guests) cost the couple $2625. This total cost included the entire custom design process, all materials and associated services, along with my guidance from day 1. The cost of this package would be adjusted at $12/suite, either lower or higher depending on final guest list count.
Postage stamps and sales taxes were in addition. The total cost of postage was $3.96/suite, including RSVP, main invitation & thank you cards.
Material and service costs can vary over time. This is the cost of this suite as of May 2024. All amounts are in CAD.

hey! i’m gillian!
Paper person. Jeopardy nerd. Magpie [hoarder of shiny things].
Most people call me Gill (like Jack ‘n). I’m the owner/designer/maker here at Copper + Blush. Making stunning foil stationery you will absolutely love is totally my cup of tea.
When I’m not working away in my home studio, I’m most likely picking up (yet another) new hobby or snuggling up with my hilarious husband on our comfy couch.
